A powerful tool to calculate the total energy consumption of a school's existing classroom displays, and compare with new, cost and energy efficient alternatives

More than ever, the use of energy in schools is under the (LED) spotlight, even more so now schools are obliged to have a Climate Action Plan in place.
The first stop is to understand your school’s energy footprint – a large proportion of which will be due to use of technology, which can be an enormous hidden cost. Most older classroom displays for example (and some new ones), use as much as four times the energy as new more energy-efficient models.
Our energy use calculator helps. Have a play with this one below, and then please contact us to paint a detailed and accurate complete picture of your site. We can do so in a meeting online, or can also integrate the service into our Classroom Healthcheck.
Assumptions include displays are switched on for 7 hours per day across 195 school days per year, at the national average cost of 28.5p per kWh. For a fully bespoke assessment, please contact us.
