It’s also an opportunity to renew your teaching, to help transform learning outcomes, and make all those new things above even more beneficial using the latest education technology.

New pupils have just spent 6 weeks learning through play on their iPads, streaming cloud-based flicks on Netflix and seamlessly integrating technology into nearly everything they do. The last thing they want is to return to school to sit in front of a dull, worn-out projection of some recycled lesson content. Compared to learning in a classroom with the latest interactive touchscreen, this mediocrity is bound to bring their enthusiasm for life and for learning back down with a bump.

New STEM curriculum content is never far away, and the great news is primary school pupils can now design and engineer their own geometric shapes on free browser-based CAD software. Even better, after exploring angles and symmetry and design, with a 3D printer they can see their creation through to build in a matter of minutes, before polishing and proudly presenting their achievement to peers, teachers and parents. How good is that?!

It’s very good – and review of these 3D creations, as well as your pupils’ hard work, textbooks and your WAGOLL is a cakewalk with the use of a classroom visualiser. Perhaps a pupil is particularly proud of their 3D printed pyramid, designed and built as part of the topic on the Ancient Egyptians.

Why not enable them to showcase it to their peers on the classroom display using a new visualiser with optical zoom? They can pinch, zoom and auto-focus on specific elements, talking through the design process and sitting back down with a sense of achievement – ready to try even harder next time.

The great news is that the above technology and lots more is available from Elementary Technology. Just ask us for a demonstration – at your school, at our Experience Centre or as a live or recorded remote demonstration.
