Keelham Primary School, a small yet ambitious school nestled in Bradford, has become a shining example of how technology can transform teaching and learning.

Here, we share their journey and the measurable impact of their collaboration with Elementary Technology that has led to our nomination as a BETT award finalist in the "Collaboration with a School College or University" category.

The Measurable Impact

Since completing their digital transformation, Keelham Primary has seen significant improvements across several key areas:

  • Educational Outcomes: Enhanced pupil engagement and improved lesson delivery.
  • Teacher Wellbeing: Reduced workload through efficient tools and improved classroom management.
  • Financial Resilience: Lower energy costs thanks to sustainable technology solutions.
  • Environmental Impact: Improved air quality monitoring and energy efficiency across the school.

Headteacher Robert Hunter had this to say about working with us:

"It was really important to us that our supplier understands who we are as a school. We're unique in so many ways and have a really strong vision for what we want for our teachers, young people and also our local rural community. I initially met with Ed Fairfield at Elementary Technology, he gave us loads of ideas and advice and most importantly, he took the time to listen. He gets Keelham! And it quickly became clear the whole team there do too."

Ongoing Partnership

This project isn't ending anytime soon. We will be continuing our work with Keelham well into 2025 and beyond. Discovering the short and long term benefits that educational technology can have in an early-years setting. Check back here to see any developments that are happening. They'll more than likely be useful for implementing tech into your own school and elevating your students in a similar way.
